I Phonics - I Play I Learn

The first step in teaching your child to read is to teach him/her alphabets and the sounds which stand for that alphabet. In order to see that your child learns in the right way, we introduced herewith I Phonics in our I Play I Learn centers as another unique offering from I Play I Learn, wherein the learning begins with alphabets. I Phonics consist of the detailed design of sounds of the alphabets. The word ‘Phonetics’ has been derived from a Greek and Latin word which means sound or voice. Phonetics in an effortless term is the sound pronounced by the human voice in spoken language. The relationship between the alphabets of written language (Graphene) and sounds of spoken language (Phoneme) is called Phonics. In order to further reassure the right learning, we have also introduced the second sound of few alphabets which in turn would facilitate the language of your child.

Each individual child is unique and gifted with a different pace of learning. Preschool years are the stepping stones for the formation of language. Thus phonics help children to bridge the gap between their pace of learning and language..

To effectively implement the process of imparting the above learning under “I-Phonics”, we have systematically packaged this in two formats, one of the visuals display of the pictures of the alphabets in a book duly supplemented with relevant audio sound i.e., The “I-Phonics Book” & “I-Phonics Compact Disc”. While the book will enhance the visual skills by providing relevant pictures of the alphabets whereas the CD will enhance the auditory skills by providing the correct phonic sounds of the alphabets. This would help in smoothening the progress of your child’s learning.

I-Phonics book is uniquely designed in order to facilitate the method of teaching your ward to read and pronounce words correctly. It is necessary that the children need to know the links between the letters & their sounds as well as have the knowledge about how to put them together so that they can pronounce words in the right way. Once this base is built your ward will be able to read the words with correct pronunciation.

I-Phonics CD aims at enhancing your child’s auditory skills by defining the distinct phonetic sounds of each alphabet which in turn speeds up the alphabetical learning. It aids these tiny tots to become acquainted to the familiar words and thus allow them to break the novel words.

The little Young minds are very inquisitive & curious at this age and always tend to explore the world around them. I Phonics CD shall impart them the scope for forming new words in a methodical process which will further help your ward to enrich his/ her own dictionary.

We would like to walk hand in hand through this journey to create sweet memories of your child’s development.

We ensure on parent’s involvement in the holistic development of the little ones. Children are at home for the major part of the day and it is important for the parents to know ‘what’ we have introduced to them at I Play I Learn and ‘how’.

Our facilitators will share this joyous experience of nurturing the young minds holistically with parent’s partnership in this process.

Children grow and develop; so do the parents. With the achievement of every developmental milestone, a child is ready to enter the next stage of development. Parents too have developed strategies to overcome the developmental challenges and are ready to foster their little ones progress ahead.

For parents, child’s first babble sounds familiar to a meaningful word, his/ her first step is a moment of ultimate celebration, sight of the first tooth erupting presents sheer joy, parents and children together achieve developmental milestones as the baby crawls out of the cradle and is all set to toddle to his first school.

The first place a child goes; away from home for a couple of hours for the first time in his life is his first school; i.e. pre-school. At I Play I Learn we bridge this transition from home to pre-school with lots of involvement and interaction opportunities for parents such that they are virtually our partners in the developmental journey of little ones.

Mother Toddler Program in I Play I Learn

For toddlers in the age group: 9 months to 18 months

Mother – Toddler Program (MTP) is uniquely conceptualized to lay a strong foundation in the early lives of the toddlers. It aims to proudly partner the mothers for their toddler’s growth, development and achievements by developing love of lifetime learning and shaping their intrinsic skills. We focus on meeting each and every child’s Physical, Cognitive, Language, Socio-Emotional & Creative needs through developmentally appropriate learning practices MTP caters to creating a bond between mothers and toddlers, where the mother professionally learn when, where and how the toddler needs his /her mother by getting involved in different activities along with their toddlers and hence ensuring the toddlers overall developments.

Facilitator Training in I Play I Learn

The operational team (Principal, Facilitators & Counselors) of franchise centers is oriented to the concept of I Play I Learn preschools. This orientation and training Programme serves as an induction for the center team to implement the I Play I Learn curriculum retaining its flavor and essence.

Training empowers our franchise centers to function smoothly and efficiently. Equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge about the field and business bring in the clarity of systems and operations too.

Training provides an interactive platform for learning business skills as well as seeking information about the early childhood education field. Counselor training and business development strategies are thoughtfully made value additions to ensure the prosperity and growth of the business.

Training is followed by refresher training and re-training to upgrade the skill sets of our extended team at franchise centers. Trained facilitators are more effective and equipped with the methods of working with children.
